Verdict: Murder accused acquitted
Another man accused of kidnapping a woman was also acquitted by a separate sessions court
ISLAMABAD:
A sessions court on Saturday acquitted a murder accused, for want of evidence. Saleem, the accused, was arrested by Sabzi Mandi police in 2013 on murder charges. However, Additional District and Sessions Judge (West) Muhammad Adnan acquitted him of the charge on Saturday. Meanwhile, another man accused of kidnapping a woman was also acquitted by a separate sessions court. Awais, the accused, had been booked by Lohi Bher police last year for allegedly kidnapping a woman. However, Additional District and Sessions Judge (West) Shahrukh Arjumand acquitted him of the charge and set him free on Saturday.
