Budget preparations: Weekly off day cancelled
The provincial government shall announce the release of funds and cheques through AG and accounts offices
PESHAWAR:
Minister for Finance Muzaffar Said cancelled the weekly off days of finance department employees. The employees at the Civil Secretariat and district accounts and audit offices of K-P will not have the day off till the budget is announced in the K-P assembly. The employees of these departments shall remain on duty and also work till Iftar every day. This tight schedule was meant to expedite budget preparations. The provincial government shall announce the release of funds and cheques through AG and accounts offices.
