Bridging barriers: German-language course concluded at ICCBS
A total of 56 students enrolled themselves in the programme, out of which 54 attended the live session
KARACHI:
A German-language course, titled ‘Fit for Germany’, has concluded at the International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi.
ICCBS organised the course between February 29 and June 6 in collaboration with the Goethe-Institut, Karachi. ICCBS director Prof Dr Muhammad Iqbal Choudhary stated this while speaking at a lecture held on Saturday at Dr Panjwani Centre for Molecular Medicine and Drug Research.
This online language course was conducted by Shamim Manzar, the former head of the language department at the Goethe-Institut, and was coordinated through the Latif Ebrahim Jamal National Science Information Centre.
A total of 56 students enrolled themselves in the programme, out of which 54 attended the live session and two attended via video, he informed, adding that a total of 34 learners appeared in the final examination.
