Fighting polio: GAWE plans to set up 300 centres

The team briefed the chief minister that GAWE had been working in Pakistan for the past 15 years

Balochistan CM Sanaullah Zehri has said that with the help of international organisations, successful attempts are being made for the elimination of polio. He was talking to a delegation of Unicef and GAWE, under the leadership of country manager Gawe Dr Hamid Raza Sataish. The team briefed the chief minister that GAWE had been working in Pakistan for the past 15 years and their attention was now focussed towards Balochistan. They said that GAWE will set up 300 centres to keep the children of Balochistan safe from various diseases and viruses.
