Petty issue: Man shot dead in Rawalpindi
The police registered a case against the suspects and have launched an investigation into the incident
RAWALPINDI:
A 35-year-old man was shot dead on Saturday by two gunmen over a petty dispute between them within the Airport police jurisdiction
Tanveer Shah, a resident of Gulzar-e-Quaid, lodged a complaint with the local police stating that Nauman and Hassan intercepted his brother, Tauqeer Shah, while he was going to a nearby market and shot him dead over an outstanding petty issue.
He was taken to the Rawalpindi District Headquarters Hospital where the doctors pronounced him dead on arrival.
The police registered a case against the suspects and have launched an investigation into the incident. When this report was filed, a police official said that no arrests had been made.
