Crime: Three held for carrying weapons

The police have registered separate cases against them under anti-arms law and started investigation

ISLAMABAD:  

The Khanna police on Saturday arrested three men and seized weapons and ammunition from their possession. The police seized two magazines, a 30-bore pistol and 46 bullets from Sher Alam and Nadir Khan and a 30-bore pistol with five bullets from Aurangzeb in Pindorian.

The police have registered separate cases against them under anti-arms law and started investigation.

Meanwhile, Khanna police on Saturday arrested a suspected drug peddler and seized over one kilogram of hashish from his possession.

Acting on a tip-off, the police intercepted Khair Ali at a checkpoint in Pindorian and seized 1.15kg of hashish during his search. The police registered a case against him under anti-narcotics law and an investigation is under way.
