Visit to boi: South Korea to invest in solar projects  

BoI DG highlighted the investment opportunities in various sectors of the economy, especially energy

ISLAMABAD: A visiting South Korean delegation discussed ways and means to invest in solar energy projects with Board of Investment (BoI) Director General for Foreign Investment Sohail Ahmed Khan. Briefing the delegation, the BoI DG highlighted the investment opportunities in various sectors of the economy, especially energy. He said South Korean investors could invest in the solar tube well project initiated by the Punjab government. “Also, different hydel energy projects are in the pipeline including Diamer Bhasha Dam, Dasu Dam and Bunji Dam and investors could benefit from the investment-friendly policies of the government,” he added.
