Misuse of authority: Former BSPC chief, two others indicted
The former chairman also recommended his son, Asad Magsi, as a section officer in a government department
QUETTA:
An Accountability Court indicted on Tuesday former chairman of the Balochistan Public Service Commission Ashraf Magsi and former deputy directors Niaz Muhammad and Abdul Waheed on charges of misuse of authority. Accountability Judge Abdul Majeed Nasir indicted the three in Quetta. Ashraf Magsi reportedly allowed his daughters, Azra Magsi and Ubaida Magsi, and another woman, to appear in the PSC exams and recommended all of them as Head Mistresses in the Education Department. The former chairman also recommended his son, Asad Magsi, and Sajid Waheed, the son of former deputy director Waheed Kakar, as a section officer in a government department.
