Quarrying In Margallas: Police say no plants operational
The SSP also held a public meeting with the locals of the area

Islamabad Police officers on Tuesday visited the Margalla Hills following the Supreme Court orders to police to stop illegal stone crushing in the Margallas. SSP (Operations) Sajid Kiani
and SP (Saddar Zone) Bilal Zafar Sheikh as well as SDPO (Saddar Circle) Umer Khan visited various stone crushing plants in the Margallas. A police spokesperson said that all the plants were found non-operational. The SSP also held a public meeting with the locals of the area. Police said that people also told them that no plants were currently operational.
