Action against defaulters : HESCO severs 600 connections
Recovered Rs0.8 million as outstanding dues from the defaulters.

More than 600 power connections were disconnected by Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) over non-payment of outstanding dues in different parts of the region. The Hesco spokesperson informed that special recovery teams carried out operations in Nawabshah, Sanghar, Daur, Sakrand, Qazi Ahmed, Mirpurkhas, Matli, Umerkot and others parts of the region. Besides, the teams also unearthed thousands of illegal connections in these areas and removed four power transformers of different range in parts of Sanghar and also recovered Rs0.8 million as outstanding dues from the defaulters. On Monday, the recovery teams has carried out operations in Qasimabad, Hirabad, Citizen Colony and Shaheed Umaid Ali and disconnected 280 power connections.
