Spiritual structures: Unity monument inaugurated in Defence
The first kalma is inscribed in an abstract form on the spherical structure of the monument
KARACHI:
Defence Housing Authority (DHA) administrator Brig Zubair Ahmed inaugurated an artistically crafted ‘Unity Monument’ erected outside Ayesha Masjid at the Khayaban-e-Ittehad and Creek Avenue junction on Tuesday. The first kalma is inscribed in an abstract form on the spherical structure of the monument designed by architect Atif Osmani. One end of the monument has ‘Allah’ inscribed on it, while the other end that goes towards the mosque has the word ‘Muhammad’ (pbuh) inscribed.
