When you can spot the international space station in Pakistan

Here's a list of possible sightings in Karachi, Lahore and Islamabad for the next few weeks

Have you ever looked up in the sky and noticed a thin white line and wondered what it was?

Well, it might look like a fast-moving plane but it is actually the International Space Station traveling thousands of miles an hour.

Visible to the naked eye, the space station looks like an airplane or a very bright star moving across the sky, except it doesn’t have flashing lights nor changes direction.

And now NASA will alert you whenever the space station flies over your house. You simply have to visit their website and sign up for alerts and you’ll start getting notifications via mobile text or email.

No matter where in the world you are, you can watch the International Space Station pass overhead from several thousand worldwide locations.

"It is the third brightest object in the sky and easy to spot if you know when to look up," NASA's website explains.
