High-speed collision: Pakistani woman dies in Riyadh crash
Her husband, Engineer Mohammad Sharif, their two daughters aged 14 and 16 and son aged 18 were seriously injured
A Pakistani national was killed and four members of her family seriously wounded when their vehicle collided with a truck in Saudi Arabia on Sunday. According to details, five members of an Islamabad-based family were travelling to Jeddah from Riyadh early Sunday when their car was hit by a speeding trailer on the main highway. As a result of the collision, Sohaila Sharif, mother of three children, was killed on the spot. Her husband, Engineer Mohammad Sharif, their two daughters aged 14 and 16 and son aged 18 were seriously injured. Saudi rescue officials air-lifted the injured to a hospital in Riyadh where their condition is reported to be out of danger.
