Reshuffle: Sindh govt transfers ACE chairperson  

After taking charge of the department, Shah registered many cases against government officials

KARACHI:
The Sindh government transferred on Saturday night Anti-Corruption and Establishment (ACE) chairperson Mumtaz Ali Shah and ordered him to report to the general administration and coordination department. Shah has been replaced by Sindh AIG Ghulam Qadir Thebo. Shah, an officer with a good reputation, had been given this position after raids by the National Accountability Bureau, Federal Investigation Agency and Rangers against corruption in various government departments. After taking charge of the department, Shah registered many cases against government officials and initiated hundreds of inquiries against them.
