Former couple parts ways after seven months

Just a day after Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris split, another young Hollywood couple has decided to call it quits. Zayn Malik and Gigi Hadid have reportedly parted ways after seven months of dating, reported E! News. While the reason behind their split remains unconfirmed, a close source to the couple revealed they were going through a rough patch in their relationship.

“During her birthday they were fighting,” an insider said, adding, “They have broken up and got back together a few times.” Another source shared there is a possibility of the two getting back together in the near future. “Zayn and Gigi did break up, but they can likely get back together tomorrow. It’s all very unclear what’s going on between them now. They have been having some issues lately that involve communication and getting along,” the source added. “Gigi is really sad about this, though, and in a way would like to work it out. It’s more about that constant contact with Zayn that she misses and they did get very close.”



Gigi, 21, and Zayn, 23, sparked dating rumours when they stepped out together at an American Music Awards after party. The couple made their red carpet debut at the Met Gala this year and also graced the cover of Vogue magazine’s May issue.
