The protesters have been saying that they should get the same facilities which are being given to the doctors in K-P
QUETTA:
Young Doctors Association (YDA) and All Pakistan Paramedics Federation Balochistan chapter have announced to boycott wards in state-run hospitals. The protesters have taken this step so that the government takes them seriously. The doctors and paramedics are demanding basic health facilities including medicine, perks and security. The protesters have been saying that they should get the same facilities which are being given to the doctors in K-P. YDA and Paramedic Staff Association staged a rally near Balochistan Assembly and marched on various roads. The protesters chanted slogans and reiterated to continue to fight for their rights until the provincial government accepts their demands. Doctor Hafeez Mandokhail, President YDA, while speaking to The Express Tribune, said, “We have protested outside the assembly to awake the government officials and we staged a sit-in for four hours.”
