Police spokesperson said the police had seized three pistols, a shotgun and a sizeable quantity of bullets

Millat Town police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested five members of a gang of robbers in Chak 197-RB late at night on Tuesday. Police spokesperson Amir Waheed said the Millat Town SHO had led a raid at the village on a tip-off about a planned robbery. He said they had arrested the ring leader Tanveer Ahmad, son of Nazeer Mughal, Abdul Ghaffar, son of Munir, a resident of Chak 201-RB, Ashfaq, son of Imtiaz, and Jaffar Hussain, son of Ahmad Yar, both residents of Chak No192-RB, and Nadeem Rehmani, son of Ishaq, a resident of Chak 197-RB. Waheed said the police had seized three pistols, a shotgun and a sizeable quantity of bullets from them.
