Need of the hour: Jirga vows to eliminate militancy

Tribal representatives of Kurram Agency stressed the need to eliminate militancy from the province and vowed to cooperate with each other to achieve this target. They were speaking at a jirga held in Bala Hissar, Frontier Corps Headquarters in the city on Thursday. The jirga briefly discussed ways to maintain peace in the city. They also discussed strategies to settle and resolve criminal issues. On the occasion, the tribal elders vowed to cooperate with Frontier Constabulary personnel and lauded their performance.
