Academic collaboration: ICCBS inks MoU with Greenwich University   

The agreement will be in effect for a period of five years from the date of execution

KARACHI:
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) has been signed between International Centre for Chemical and Biological Sciences (ICCBS), University of Karachi, and Greenwich University (GU). The MoU aims to promote collaborative research and academic activities in the areas of natural products, medicinal plant chemistry, pharmacology of herbal medicine and drug development and delivery in Pakistan. Initially, the agreement was signed in a special ceremony held at the GU, Karachi Campus, in the presence of Mauritius president Dr Bibi Ameenah Firdaus Gurib-Fakim last month, informed an official of ICCBS. As per the agreement, areas of collaboration between both the institutions include the exchange of appointed adjunct faculty, research scholars and joint execution of publications, research project, supervision students. The agreement will be in effect for a period of five years from the date of execution and may be extended by mutual agreement in writing by both parties in the future.
