All set: Food street in Namak Mandi gets green light
The naib nazim asked UPU to prepare a structural drawing and map for the food street within seven days
PESHAWAR:
Senior officials of the district administration decided on Thursday to set up a food street in the city’s famous gastronomical hub of Namak Mandi.
The decision was taken at a meeting convened with Mayor Mohammad Asim Khan in the chair. According to a handout issued on Thursday, the moot was attended by DC Riaz Mehsud, naib nazim Syed Qaim Ali Shah, Urban Policy Unit (UPU)’s Wasif Shinwari and other officials. All of them unanimously decided to establish the food street.
As per the handout, Shinwari briefed the naib nazim about plans to establish the food street. Asim and other members of the meeting visited the spot and decided on a specific site.
The naib nazim asked UPU to prepare a structural drawing and map for

He demanded a PC-1 should also be submitted to his office within 15 days.
