Innovation: Varsity asked to expedite work on research centre
The chief minister directed the varsity administration to improve the standard of education for girls studying at ICU
PESHAWAR:
The authorities have been directed to complete work on a material research centre at Islamia College University (ICU), Peshawar with immediate effect to resolve industrial matters in a scientific manner.
The directives were issued by Chief Minister Pervez Khattak and mentioned in a handout issued by the CM’s Secretariat. He was speaking with a delegation from the varsity.
The delegation was headed by ICU Vice Chancellor Ajmal Khan. Director Works Arbab Safeer Ahmad and other officials were also part of the delegation. Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Higher Education Mushtaq Ahmad Ghani, the chief secretary and higher education secretary were also in attendance.
