Horoscope: May 19, 2016
While ordinarily tackling an issue immediately is wise, at the moment you need to learn more about the actual situation in question. It would appear that others view the matter from an angle that’s very different from yours. Only once you understand their perspective can you begin discussing a solution.
Taurus | April 20 – May 20
Recent discussions weren’t just frank, the facts that surfaced have got you thinking about a range of ideas and issues. While many have proved unexpectedly simple to assess and resolve, others remain perplexing. Although these will require more thought, what you learn will more than justify the patience and effort required.
Gemini | May 21 – June 20
Usually going back over already confused issues only makes things worse. However, your ruler Mercury ends its retrograde cycle in a few days’ time. Begin discussing recent misunderstandings now. The questions you raise and the resulting exchange of ideas won’t just be informative, they could untangle the chaos, once and for all.
Cancer | June 21 – July 22
Not only is it no surprise you’re already experiencing the heightened feelings that usually accompany the Full Moon, in a few days’ time, it’s worth reflecting on these. What you learn will enable you to deal with both the shifting emotional state of others and, importantly, your own ups and downs.
Leo | July 23 – August 22
Since late April your ruler the Sun has been accenting the structure of your life, at home and out in the world. This meant discussing changes, if not actually making them. Many are working out far better than you’d have conceived possible. Remember this when several more arise, perhaps overnight.
Virgo | August 23 – September 22
Often your perfectionist streak is of benefit to you. Because you take the trouble to get things right the first time around, you rarely face problems later. However, with the Full Moon bringing both feelings and certain issues to a head, you’ll be facing situations that even you couldn’t have anticipated.
Libra | September 23 – October 22
Although you haven’t exactly enjoyed being in situations that demanded you focus on practical or financial matters, you’ve accomplished a great deal. Still the shift triggered by the move by both the Sun and, next Tuesday, your ruler Venus into the most expansive portion of your chart will be a relief.
Scorpio | October 23 – November 21
Over the coming days the Sun and Venus move to accent joint ventures, then in early June the New Moon, also in this portion of your chart, highlights much needed changes. You may be dreading these now. But between discussions and your own observations, you’ll acknowledge they’re in your best interests.
Sagittarius | November 22 – December 21
It’s easy to blame the difficulties everybody is dealing with on the retrograde Mercury. While this cycle, which ends on the 22nd, is about an increase in errors and misunderstandings, it has nothing to do with the inflexible attitude of certain individuals towards changes that aren’t just important, they’re crucial.
Capricorn | December 22 – January 19
Every Full Moon brings feelings to a head. But because this Saturday’s accents both ongoing obligations and the most strategic angle of your chart, you could find yourself fuming about unfair arrangements. First, consider whether your mood is passing. If not, think issues through, then discuss them, but when you’re calmer.
Aquarius | January 20 – February 17
Life would be wonderful if you could tackle issues involving others and put them to rest swiftly. While certain individual will happily discuss these matters, one in particular seems determined to draw things out. That being the case, say you’re sorry, then back off. Eventually they’ll realise how unwise their strategy was.
Pisces | February 18 – March 19
Ordinarily you’d be right to question the loyalty of those who back out of arrangements at the last minute. However, with the Full Moon bringing matters to an emotional head one day, and Mercury ending its retrograde cycle the next, even those whose commitment is solid may be forced to rethink things.
