Wahab to bank on Essex experience for England tour
Pakistan left-arm pacer highly rates county cricket's quality

Pakistan left-arm pacer Wahab Riaz believes his stint with English county side Essex will help him build confidence for the upcoming national tour of England.
"Obviously T20 cricket is totally different from Test cricket,” said Wahab. “But yes, coming here [in England] about a month before the tour team will really help me in building up my confidence and building up my shape."
The marquee player for Essex will be representing the team for the first seven matches after the competition starts on Friday.
The 30-year-old rated the English T20 event’s quality very highly.
"The quality of cricket is really good here,” he said. “You have to work hard to perform well, so this is what you need as a cricketer. You need conditions; you need cricket to make you good and better."
Wahab has represented Pakistan in 15 Tests bagging 43 wickets with an economy of 3.33. He has accounted for 94 batsmen in 69 ODIs and has taken 20 scalps in as much T20s.
