I love how I always get the best results with these pencils in terms of smoothness.

Tea



This might sound like a television advert, but it all starts with a cup of tea. I cannot function without having my tea first.

Research



I need to have my research in terms of vintage books, encyclopedias, paintings and reference work all ready and by my side when I’m designing. These things tend to bring out the best in me.

Music



Although I’m constantly updating my playlist, it’s always a Sia Furler song that gets my creative juices rolling.

Sketchbooks



I’m absolutely in love with the texture of Daler Rowney sketchbooks; they use an acid free cartridge paper and are just about perfect for sketching.

Perfume



This may sound eccentric, but I like to smell good when I’m working on any of my designs. The better I smell, the better I work — you can say it’s my moment of ‘zen’.

Cookies and  chocolates



They provide caffeine or the fuel that keeps me going! The more there are of them, the better I work.
