Another Auer classic is the ‘Truffle Blanche’, an exquisite creation filled with the fluffiest of white chocolate filling.

Beyond traditional chocolate bites, Martel offers a fantastic selection of delectable nougat bars. Start by indulging on the ‘Chocolate Lait Suisse Mendiant’, which is in parts equally sweet and crunchy. One piece of this nougat will leave you longing for more. Continue to savour the crunchy taste by trying the ‘Chocolat aux Amandes’, a wonderful cluster of nuts, glazed with delicious milk chocolate. Don’t forget to pack some of these chocolates to take back home.

After perfectly satisfying your sweet tooth, make a stop at the luxury departmental store, Bongénie Grieder, in the vicinity. With lofty, contemporary interiors, Bongénie has seven floors of shopping heaven. From Chanel and Gucci flagships to the ultimate shoe salon, you can spend hours trying out dreamy dresses, exotic handbags gliding through the best of cool, on G Point (floor three). If all this was not enough, hop on over to floor four, to relish contemporary café cuisine at BG café.
