Gypsy Rose Blanchard has announced she will no longer share personal content on social media, opting for a more private life as she prepares to welcome her daughter. In a statement posted on her TikTok, Blanchard, 33, expressed her gratitude to supporters while explaining her decision. “I will no longer be posting personal content on this public platform,” she wrote. “I find myself at a crossroads that leads me to desire a more private life.”
The post clarified that while her public accounts will remain active for updates about her upcoming memoir, My Time To Stand, and the Lifetime TV show Gypsy Rose: Life After Lockup, personal updates will be limited to her private accounts. Blanchard shared that she will only accept requests from family and close friends, saying, “This decision was made with consideration to the well-being of my mental health and the overall well-being of my family and daughter.”
Blanchard also addressed her fans directly, thanking them for their continued support. “We are all doing very well and are in good spirits, excited for our futures moving forward,” she added, concluding the message with heart emojis.
The announcement comes shortly after Blanchard revealed that her ex-fiancé, Ken Urker, is the father of her unborn child, not her estranged husband, Ryan Anderson. Fans responded to the TikTok post with mixed reactions, some wishing her well while others questioned her decision to step back from social media.
Gypsy Rose Blanchard was released on parole in December 2023 after serving time for her involvement in the 2015 murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard.
