Switch Over : MQM MPAs’ resignations accepted
Mangi was elected from PS-127 (Malir) while Bheel was an MPA on a reserved seat

Sindh Assembly speaker Agha Siraj Durrani accepted on Monday the resignations of Muttahida Qaumi Movement provincial lawmakers Ashfaq Mangi and Poonjo Bheel. Both lawmakers had resigned recently to join the Pak Sarzameen Party led by Mustafa Kamal. Assembly secretary GM Umar Farooq said, after the acceptance of resignations, the speaker has written to the Election Commission of Pakistan to issue the schedule for a re-poll on the two seats. Mangi was elected from PS-127 (Malir) while Bheel was an MPA on a reserved seat.
