Colonel (retd) Syed Asif Munir Gardezi of the Pakistan Ordnance Corps passed away in Rawalpindi due to cardiac arrest. He was 50.
His funeral prayers, held in Askari 14, were attended by a large number of army officers, soldiers and people from all walks of life.
The deceased was laid to rest in his native village of Chamankot in Bagh District, Azad Kashmir.
