Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar discussed the execution of Jamaat-e-IslamI’s leaders in Bangladesh during a telephone conversation with the Ameer of Jamat-e-Islami (JI) Sirajul Haq on Saturday and. Both of them agreed that to make a joint strategy in this connection by bringing a resolution in the National Assembly and to invite other political parties to become part of it. They discussed that this is not merely an issue of some personalities, but the murder of justice. Nisar and Sirajul Haq noted that the JI leaders were being hanged because they were true patriotic Pakistanis some 45 years ago. The JI leaders and workers in the then East-Pakistan had sided with Pakistani security forces in quelling the movement that led to the formation of Bangladesh in 1971.
