Unpaid Dues: HCCI president evades arrest

The NAB sources informed that an arrest warrant against Goharullah has been issued on the complaint of HESCO

The president of Hyderabad Chamber of Commerce and Industry (HCCI) and the owner of Fateh Textiles, Seth Goharullah, escaped arrest on Saturday. Accompanied by the police, a team of National Accountability Bureau raided the HCCI secretariat. However, the traders resisted the arrest, allowing Goharullah to escape. The NAB sources informed that an arrest warrant against Goharullah has been issued on the complaint of Hyderabad Electric Supply Company (Hesco) for non-payment of dues. Hesco spokesperson Sadiq Kubar confirmed that a complaint to the NAB has been filed, however, he expressed lack of knowledge regarding the exact amount.
