Crackdown: Three suspected militants arrested
The suspects were allegedly involved in attacks on a check post in Chitral

The counter-terrorism department has arrested three suspected militants from Malakand, stated a handout issued by the department on Tuesday. A search operation was conducted. Three suspected militants identified as Gul Zada, Umer Hayat and Ehsanullah were arrested and shifted to an undisclosed location for interrogation. The militants belonged to Sheringal, Upper Dir. The suspects were allegedly involved in attacks on a check post in Chitral. The three men were also involved in a suicide attack on a mosque in Chitral in which 33 people lost their lives and 10 were injured.
