In the dead of night: Media centre attacked in Shabqadar
Charsadda Press Club President Sartaj Khan and other journalists have demanded the early recovery of the items
SHABQADAR:
Unidentified men barged into Shabqadar Media Centre and stole laptops, computers, television sets and cameras worth Rs0.5 million on Monday night. Syed Nadir Shah, who heads the centre, told The Express Tribune, they have approached Charsadda District Police Officer Khalid Sohail after the incident. “Charsadda Press Club President Sartaj Khan and other journalists have demanded the early recovery of the computers and cameras,” he said. “The DPO has assured them that culprits will be arrested within three days.” Journalists in Charsadda have threatened to go on strike if the accused are not arrested.
