LAHORE:
A 13-year-old boy allegedly strangled his 14-year-old classmate in Lahore’s Ittehad Colony area.

According to sources, Saif Ali along with his younger brother, assaulted Noman after they entered a minor dispute in their school located near Millat Park in Ittehad Colony.

The victim suffered critical injuries to his throat and was shifted to a nearby hospital where he succumbed to his injuries, police sources said, adding that the body has been shifted to a morgue for post mortem examination.

The 14-year-old victim was the eldest of the four siblings while his father is a wagon driver, the sources said.

Soon after the incident, the accused teenagers and their family went into hiding. However, police have registered a case against the suspects on the complaint of the victim’s father. Raids are being carried out for their arrest.
