Speeding bus: Police officer dies in road accident
The relative of the deceased received injuries but was stated to be out of danger
MUZAFFARABAD:
An Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) police officer died in a road accident in Gujranwala. Malik Sultan, an assistant sub-inspector at Nar Kotli Police Station was in Gujranwala to enquire about the health of his relative. He was travelling on a motorbike along with a relative when they were hit by a speeding bus near a u-turn, killing him on the spot. The relative of the deceased received injuries but was stated to be out of danger. Malik, a resident of Tatta Pani area of AJK, was laid to rest in his ancestral graveyard. AJK Inspector General of Police Bashir Memon condoled the death of the police officer with his family.
