Doctors treating her said that her condition was critical
BAHAWALPUR:
A woman swallowed acid on Monday. She was taken to the Civil Hospital Bahawalpur, where her condition was said to be critical. Police said Asma Bibi, a resident of Bahawalpur, would often have arguments with her husband Zafar. They said that Zafar would beat her often. On Sunday, she had had an argument with Zafar. He beat her up again after which she swallowed acidshe was seen puking blood and was taken to the Civil Hospital, Bahawalpur. Doctors treating her said that her condition was critical. Asma Bibi and Zafar have three daughters.
