PESHAWAR:
A model attending Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI)'s Peshawar rally has complained of being harassed by the party's supporters.

With apparently no appropriate arrangements for women, model Ainee Khan claims she had to take refuge in a car when PTI supporters began getting rowdy and harassing her.

"I only came here to propose Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf chairman and was forced to take refuge in this car after being harassed by the party workers," Ainee Khan said while talking to media on Tuesday.

According to the model, the workers asked her to take selfies with them but as more and more of them gathered, she was forced to run and hide in her car.

Ainee said she had no idea there was no designated area for women in the congregation. The situation was immediately put under control by police and organisers who were present at the rally.

Meanwhile, PTI leaders Faisal Jawaid and Naeemul Haq said the woman was not a Peshawar resident, adding that the incident seemed a conspiracy against the party to sabotage its protest plans, Express News reported.
