Terror camps in Balochistan: FC seizes arms dumps

The paramilitary force also carried out search operation in the Uch area of Jaffarabad

QUETTA: In two separate operations, Frontier Corps troops seized the arms dumps of banned separatist groups in Kohlu and Jaffarabad districts on Saturday. According to an FC spokesman, the paramilitary force launched a search operation against the banned Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA) in the Kodan area of Kohlu. Acting on a tip-off, FC troops raided a compound and recovered an M-72 missile, seven rocket launchers, 59 rockets, 55 mortar rounds of 82mm, 68 mortar rounds of 60mm, 52 fuses, eight landmines, 49 bombs, guns and explosives. The paramilitary force, which wields policing powers in Balochistan, also carried out search operation in the Uch area of Jaffarabad. They located and destroyed three camps of the defunct Baloch Republican Army (BRA) and recovered 20kg explosives, IED, detonation devices and other destructive materials.
