Conviction: Man sentenced to death
Additional Sessions Judge Amjad Nazeer Chaudhary on Saturday awarded death sentence on two counts to a man he convicted of murder. According to the prosecution, Muhammad Arshad of Chak 38-JB had killed Abdur Razzaq and Izaan Haidar near Adda Thikriwala on June 15, 2011. After hearing witnesses and examining the evidence, the judge sentenced him to death. In Kasur, Additional District and Sessions Judge Muhammad Younas Aziz awarded life imprisonment to a man he convicted of murder. Prosecution told the court that Ramazan had killed Riazat Ali at Saeedabad Colony in 2014. After hearing the witnesses and examining the evidence, the judge awarded life imprisonment to Ramazan but acquitted two others.
