Wave of panic: IED blast in Toheedabad
Police believe it was not a case of extortion as Jalal had not received any phone calls from extortionists

The main gate of a house was damaged when an improvised explosive device went off in Toheedabad, within the jurisdiction of Yakatoot police station, on Thursday night. According to the police, a house owned by Jalal, a local, was targeted in the attack. Although no casualties were reported, a loud explosion was heard and triggered a wave of panic. Police believe it was not a case of extortion as Jalal had not received any phone calls from extortionists.
