Another English Premier League club, Borussia Dortmund, reportedly tried to sign Dembele for a £11.8 million fee but after looking at the increased interest in the winger, Rennais double their valuation of the player.

Meanwhile, Manchester City have also been linked with the player and if Liverpool are to sign the French youngster they will have to raise the bid up to £27m.
