Eye-spy the perfect make-up tutorial
Here's a break-down of our live make-up tutorial!
Want the perfect look for your eyes, whether you're going out for lunch or to a wedding? Look no further!
Make-up artist Qirat Baber visited The Express Tribune to give us a detailed tutorial for the perfect daytime to night time look for your eyes.
Here's what we learnt.
1. Primer
You must apply primer before any other eye make-up, so that your final look lasts you all day. If you don't have primer, don't fret -- concealer will also do the trick.
The primer Qirat chose was by Mac, in the shade of 'soft ochre.'
2. Eye shadow
Qirat starts off with a Mac eye shadow, called 'Nylon,' for the brow-bone area, and then moves on to a eye shadow palette by Two Faced, called 'Chocolate Bar.' Although it's pricey, she claims it's worth the investment, and is probably the only eye shadow palette you'll need, due to it's great shades and high pigmentation.
Hip lip trends
3. Eye liner
Qirat chose a black, matte eye liner by Color Studio, and a mascara by Benefit called Roller Lash. The make-up artist applied a thin line, following the top of the eyelashes, to finish off the natural, daytime look.
4. False lashes
Qirat then made a few touches, to transition the look to a more glamorous one for the evening.
She added false lashes by Koko in the size, 'Style Goddess.'
5. Sparkle
To add sparkle to her eyes, Qirat used an eyeliner by Urban Decay, as a substitute for eyeshadow. The glittery, gold shade called 'Midnight Cowboy' will go with almost any outfit.
To enhance the look further, Qirat re-touched the eyeliner with a gel liner by Inglot in number 77.
5 gross makeup ingredients that are actually good for your skin
6. Finishing touches
To top it off, she darkened the corners of the eyes and the lower lash line with the shade 'fudge' from her 'Chocolate Bar,' and traced the waterline with a white eye pencil by Mac to enlarge the eyes.
