Campus contest: Girls shine at horticulture competition
GCU Botany Alumni Association president Ajmal Raheem and GCU-HS Adviser Prof Dr Zaheeruddin congratulated the winners

Girl students won all competitions on Wednesday at the Inter-Universities Flower and Painting Competition 2016, organised by the Government College University Lahore Horticulture Society (GCU-HS). Students from several universities, including the Lahore College for Women University and University of Education, took part in the competitions with the theme: Reduce, Reuse and Recycle. GCU Botany Alumni Association president Ajmal Raheem and GCU-HS Adviser Prof Dr Zaheeruddin congratulated the winners. Vice Chancellor Hassan Amir Shah said that educational institutions should equally focus on the character-building and personality development of students, besides imparting quality education.
