Search operation: Police arrest 29 suspects
The rest were arrested and shifted to Sabzi Mandi police station for investigation, a police spokesperson said
ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police arrested 29 suspects during a search operation conducted in fruit and vegetable market and other areas in Sector 1-11 on Tuesday. Police held 105 suspects and released 76 after verification and interrogation. The rest were arrested and shifted to Sabzi Mandi police station for investigation, a police spokesperson said. Personnel of Rangers and other security agencies also took part in the search operation. Superintendent of Police (Investigation) Muhammad Ilyas and Sabzi Mandi SHO led the operation.
