AJK president hands over house allotment letters
The houses were constructed on 6 marla plots in Thota Satellite Town Housing Scheme
MUZAFFARABAD:
Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Muhammad Yaqoob Khan on Tuesday handed over 20 house allotment letters to Commissioner Rehabilitation.
The houses were constructed on 6 marla plots in Thota Satellite Town Housing Scheme with financial assistance from Saudi Fund For Development.
The houses would be handed over to refugees who settled in AJK from Indian-administered Kashmir in 1989 and people suffering from 2005 earthquake.
The president hailed the role of Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in rehabilitation and reconstruction of earthquake-hit areas of the region.
He said that such public welfare projects would help strengthen the
historic friendly and brotherly relations of both countries.
