Gas In Balochistan: 54 villages targeted for gas connections
SSGC is also working on setting up LPG air-mix plants to supply gas to district headquarters of Balochistan
ISLAMABAD:
The government is working on gas development schemes for 54 villages in Balochistan. According to Radio Pakistan, quoting sources in the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, out of 54 villages, 25 had already been provided gas and the development work on remaining 29 schemes was in progress. Sui Southern Gas Company was implementing the schemes under its annual development programme. SSGC is also working on setting up LPG air-mix plants to supply gas to district headquarters of Balochistan. Presently, work is under way on LPG air-mix plants at Awaran and Bella and expected to be completed during the current fiscal year.
