Injured: Five ‘in critical condition’

Among the 70 injured who were taken to various hospitals in the city, 25 were discharged.

LAHORE: Five out of the 52 injured, under treatment at the Mayo Hospital, are in critical condition according to doctors. Eighteen were discharged from the hospital on Wednesday.

Among the 70 injured who were taken to various hospitals in the city, 25 were discharged. Seven people were discharged from the Lahore General Hospital on Wednesday. According to hospital administration the condition of two people who had been critical had stabilised. Governor Sardar Latif Khosa visited the Mayo Hospital on Wednesday to inquire after those injured. “I am pleased to see that the injured have not lost courage,” Khosa said. He invited them over to the Governor’s House after they had recovered. During his visit, Khosa directed the Mayo Hospital medical superintendent and doctors to take good care of the blast victims.
