Extortionists’ Strike: One dies of injuries
The extortionists had been demanding Rs10 million from the owner

Jannat Gul, one of the five people injured in a grenade attack at a dairy farm on Pajjagi Road succumbed to his injuries at Lady Reading Hospital (LRH) on Saturday. The attack took place a few days ago at Haji Nasrullah’s farm on Pajjagi Road in the jurisdiction of Michni Gate police station. This was the second such attack on the farm. According to the police, extortionists were behind the violence. The five injured had been identified as Sarfaraz, Tawas Khan, Osman, Amir and Jannat Gul. Gul had been admitted in critical condition to the neurosurgery ward at LRH. Speaking to the media, a police official posted at LRH said, The extortionists had been demanding Rs10 million from the owner.
