Behind bars: Police round up 10 suspects

ISLAMABAD:
Islamabad Police have arrested 10 suspects and recovered stolen properties and illicit drugs from them. Secretariat police apprehended two bike lifters Majid and Faryad in possession of a stolen bike. Bani Gala police arrested Muhammad Riaz for selling petroleum products without permit and in violation of safety standards and regulations. Margalla police arrested a suspected thief, identified as Musawir, and recovered stolen property from him. Similarly, Shalimar police arrested Sajida Bibi, a housemaid, in possession of stolen cash and gold ornaments. Industrial Area police arrested two persons, Bilal and Majid, in possession of 50 grammes of hashish and an unlicensed pistol, respectively. Sabzi Mandi police apprehended suspected drug pusher Abdul Razzaq with 1.1kg hashish. Golra police arrested Jaffar and Saadat and recovered 560 grammes of hashish from their possession. Separate cases have been registered.
