Valuables Snatched: Woman seeks case against son
The petitioner requested the court to direct the police to register a case against her son and his accomplices
LAHORE:
An additional district and sessions judge on Friday sought comments from the Shahdara Station House Officer (SHO) in connection with a woman’s petition seeking the registration of a case against her son. Petitioner Anwar Sultana told the court that her son was a drug addict. She said he used to routinely pester her for money to buy narcotics much to her chagrin. Sultana said a few days ago she had admonished him for asking for money to buy drugs. She said he and two of his accomplices had then taken away cash and other valuables from her house in her absence. Sultana said, in vain, she had approached the pertinent SHO on this account. The petitioner requested the court to direct the police to register a case against her son and his accomplices.
