Brutal killing: Child hanged to death laid to rest
The police shifted the body to Khyber Medical College in Peshawar for an autopsy
CHARSADDA:
A nine-year-old child was hanged to death by unidentified men in Sheikh Kalay, Charsadda. He was buried on Wednesday. An individual identified Jehangir told the police his nephew went out. After two hours, the family was informed the child’s remains were found in fields nearby. The police shifted the body to Khyber Medical College in Peshawar for an autopsy and for carrying out legal formalities. They handed over his remains to the family later. The child was laid to rest on Wednesday in his native area’s graveyard. The police said unidentified assailants had hanged him to death. A case has been registered against unidentified culprits and investigation has begun.
